CapWIN Data Services

CapWIN Data Services provides customized access to our backend data infrastructure through CapWIN InfoShare.  This solution allows agencies with existing data systems and mobile client software to efficiently and securely access various data sources accessed and/or maintained by CapWIN.  For example, the Baltimore City and Anne Arundel Police Departments currently use CapWIN Data Services to access Maryland Driver’s License Photos through CapWIN’s dedicated Web Services infrastructure.  New Web Service solutions are currently under development and will enable additional CapWIN data, such as CapWIN Incident Data (including real-time field updates), to be shared with external systems.

CapWIN Operational Support Services

CapWIN Operational Support Services provides remote and on-scene support to participating first responder agencies related to pre-planned events and exercises.  CapWIN support staff can provide human and technical resources in advance, during, and post event follow-up activities (“hotwash”) including event log and reporting services for individual agencies.  CapWIN can also support conference and training activities related to specific events.

Over the years CapWIN users have benefited from the Mobile Client that has evolved into a robust, user friendly software program. The Mobile Client is so user friendly that the new users are experiencing little to no difficulty learning it just with the assistance of the CapWIN Users Guide.

Consulting Services

CapWIN Technical Consulting Services provides direct IT consulting support to first responder organization across a range of technology development issues.  From specific data solution support (programming) to technical assessments and request for proposal (RFP) support including requirements review/development, CapWIN staff are pleased to use our unique and substantial experience in first responder data integration, development and implementation in support of other public safety, transportation/transit, and emergency management agencies.
