Live CapWIN Incident : 4th of July Celebration - DC and N. VA

CapWIN Community –

The United States Park Police has initiated a CapWIN Incident for the 4th of July celebration. The Incident is now live. This Incident covers the National Mall and areas surrounding or impacted by the celebration, including the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Arlington County, Alexandria City, Pentagon, and Reagan National Airport.

Per USPP Lt. Mulholland, this CapWIN Incident will serve as the primary means for exchanging data information during the incident. The MACC will be actively monitoring and communicating via CapWIN during the event.

CapWIN Users are encouraged to join and participate in the Incident, including sharing documents and posting updates. Public information will be posted in the resource room as it becomes available.

Also, if your location is outside of this Incident’s general area, Users are encouraged to created their own CapWIN Incident for their communities events.

Please remember to test any computers you plan to use prior to the events. If you have any “Technical” issues installing software, entering PID’s, logging into CapWIN, or password resets, please feel free to contact Andrew Mushi, our Help Desk Manager, who can be reached at amushi@capwin.org or 301-614-3730.
