CapWIN Receives Kudos

CapWIN Community –

Today’s story comes from Maryland State Police Communications Supervisor D. Bennett of the Hagerstown Barrack.

On 10/9/2008 the Maryland State Police had a Circuit Court Warrant for a suspect for Failure to Appear (FTA) on charges of possession of a handgun in a motor vehicle. Court records indicated that the suspect had an address in Forestville, Maryland, but there were also indicators of recent address activity in Laurel, Maryland. Supervisor Bennett used CapWIN to communicate directly with Laurel Police Department Officer T. Bell. The suspect description, possible address and warrant information was shared. On 10/11/2008 the suspect was located and arrested.

Great Job!
