CapWIN User Inauguration Planning Meeting

In an effort to help the CapWIN community have smooth and successful communications during the Inauguration, the CapWIN Staff will be hosting a CapWIN User Inauguration Planning Meeting.

This meeting is intended for key personnel at your agency (perhaps x2) who are involved with the planning of communications during the week long events, as well as individuals you have assigned to use CapWIN in your command posts and communications centers. CapWIN Agency Administrators are also welcome.

The meeting will provide details concerning the schedule of events; the implementation of the CapWIN tools available to your agency for the events; as well as help resolve any last minute operational communications issues in open discussion.

It is imperative that I get an accurate head count who will be in attendance.  Please RSVP me the names & emails of anyone who wishes to attend no later than close of business on January 8, 2009.  The size of the group attending this planning meeting will determine its exact building / room location, however it will be at or near CapWIN/UMD in Greenbelt MD. The RSVP time is critical for planning purposes. 

Once we get a true head count, I will be emailing you the physical address of the meeting.

We would like to thank all of the Agencies that have been working with CapWIN over the many years, and those who have been working hard over the past few months with CapWIN for the Inauguration!

As a reminder, CapWIN is not a for-profit company, we are a government entity serving the public safety community in the District, Maryland and Virginia. Please feel free to bring any laptops or PDA’s to this meeting to have our Tech Staff install, or confirm you have the latest version. You will also be able to perform any needed password resets as well.
