The CapWIN Software Solution Suite

The CapWIN Coalition has developed Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) software solutions designed to serve the unique needs of first responders coordinating across jurisdictions, disciplines and levels of government. Below are descriptions of our current solutions and products.

CapWIN Mobile

A rich mobile data client providing:

Secure law enforcement (CJIS) data access
Interoperable communications
Incident coordination tools including a sophisticated GIS/mapping interface
Access to mulitple local, state, and federal databases supporting public safety, transportation, transit, and emergency management agency first response

CapWIN Data Services

A standards-based interface to multiple CapWIN data sources, including:

Maryland drivers license photos
CapWIN user-created incident data
Regional transportation incident data
CapWIN messaging and alert data
